"We do not learn from experience, we learn from reflecting on experience"
"How can I neglect them ? ", I kept questioning myself.
After we end up our social engagement project at Rumah Tumpangan and Sekolah Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin and Rumah Anak Kesayanganku I realized that community service are part of our individual's responsibilities. The best thing that the person can donate is their time towards others. Since it was my first experienced going to an orphanage, the thought of what might happen scared me out, but it turns out to be the best memory I've ever had. This program taught me to be more grateful of my life, I never imagined being an orphan at such a young age like them and some of them have to endure the pain to live a very isolated existence. Furthermore, even they are much younger than me they had open my eyes to take the focus off me and make me more aware of the world and people around me. THEY NEED US ! Today it seems that everybody is so wrapped up in themselves that they lose sight of the things in life that truly make you happy. I have to MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES !
