The day that I have been chosen to be a group leader, I thought it would difficult because I do not know well my group members. After had a few discussion about what we are going to do for social engagement, I think that they are the best group members that I ever had. They gave their full support and commitment to finish up this project. The first task for our group was joined venture with Society of Petroleum Engineering (SPE). We went to Rumah Tumpangan dan Anak Yatim. The first impression when I went there was it should be an easier task because children there very hyperactive. After a few activities conducted, I felt worried because one of them tried to play with a paper cutter. I was asked to monitor him until the programme done. It was hard to handle with this children. We actually had a hard time to control this child. The programme finished at 5 Pm.
Then we had the next task at Rumah Anak Kesayanganku, Rawang, Selangor. At this house we need to handle it by ourselves. This was the toughest challenge for me because as a group leader I need to make sure that the programme run smoothly. We had fun days with them even though we had used our full energy to make this programme fun.
After this social engagement project, I felt that I am the luckiest human in this world that still having parents in my life. The children from that house did not feel the full love from their parents even though they seems to be happy but inside their heart they need us to give them support. I also thankful that I have such a wonderful parents that gave a lot of supports from the day I born until now. This social engagement project gave me 1001 reasons why I need to achieve something in my life. Thanks for realised me that our lives is short and we gonna enjoy it while we still can breathe. Thanks to my group members that give me opportunity to be a group leader. No one in this world can live without loves, because loves only can build inside your heart.
